Hi,
I have configured UpDownload to allow all Users to upload files and it works. But when a users is displaying the download list, for each entry there's an icon related to the file type (e.g. the acrobat PDF icon) displayed alongside the name of the download. When clicking on the icon, the Edit form is displayed allowing any users to modify the download. How to avoid this?

My permissions are:
1 Admins .* .* Admin
2 All groups Menublock:: Main Menu:Administration: None
4 Users UpDownload:: :: Add
5 Users .* .* Comment
6 Unregistered Menublock:: Main Menu:(My Account|Logout|Submit News|Downloads): None
7 Unregistered UpDownload:: :: None

You misunderstand the permissions.
Please read the install.txt in the pndocs folder for details.
You have to use
Users | UpDownload::Add | .* | Add
with categories permissions...

thanks for replying.

According to install.txt, to allow uploading without Admin approval I should enter:
(Group) | Updownload:: | :: | Add
which corresponds to my rule #4 above, where (Group) is "Users" and this works ok.

But doing so also permits users to modify whatever download as stated in my previous message.
What am I doing wrong?
